About Us | BR Chemicals โ€“ Foundry Resin & Refractory Coating Manufacturer
ISO-GRADE BATCH TESTING ยท GUJARAT, INDIA

Foundry chemistry, built with intent

BR Chemicals manufactures foundry resins and refractory coatings for India's metal casting industry โ€” formulated in Gujarat, tested batch by batch, and supplied application-ready to foundries across the country.

Who We Are

A Gujarat-based foundry resin and refractory coating manufacturer

BR Chemicals is a foundry chemicals manufacturer based in Gujarat, India, specialising in no-bake and cold-box resin systems along with water and alcohol based refractory coatings for the metal casting industry. As a dedicated foundry resin manufacturer, we work with pattern shops, jobbing foundries and large-scale casting units that need consistent, application-ready chemistry โ€” not just a supplier who ships drums and disappears.

Our product range covers the core chemistry that keeps a moulding floor running: furan acid-cured resin, phenolic urethane (cold-box and no-bake) resin, alkaline phenolic ester-cured resin and phenolic acid-cured resin, paired with zircon, zircon-graphite, graphite, alumino-silicate and magnesite based refractory coatings in both water and alcohol carriers. Whether a foundry is pouring cast iron, SG iron, steel, stainless steel, manganese steel or non-ferrous alloys, our formulations are built around how that alloy actually behaves at the mould-metal interface.

Why "Foundry Resin Manufacturer" Means More Than a Label to Us

A lot of foundry resin suppliers in India work as traders โ€” buying in bulk, repackaging, and reselling without much visibility into how a batch actually performs on the shop floor. BR Chemicals takes a different approach. We manufacture our own resin and coating formulations, which means we control the raw material sourcing, the reaction process and the final batch testing โ€” and we can trace a problem back to its source instead of guessing.

That matters in a foundry, where a resin with the wrong bench life or a coating with poor suspension stability doesn't just cost money โ€” it shows up as scrap, rework and delayed deliveries. Our formulations are developed and tested with that reality in mind: predictable strip times, consistent viscosity, and coatings that go on clean whether you're dipping, brushing or spraying.

What We Manufacture

Our product range is organised around two core categories. On the resin side, we manufacture furan no-bake resin, phenolic urethane (PU/PUCB) resin for both cold-box and no-bake processes, alkaline phenolic ester-cured resin for low-nitrogen, low-sulphur requirements, and phenolic acid-cured resin for high-tensile-strength applications in iron and Ni-Hard castings. On the coating side, we manufacture zircon, zircon-graphite, graphite and alumino-silicate coatings in a water carrier, plus zircon, graphite, alumino-silicate and magnesite coatings in an alcohol carrier for foundries that need fast, uniform drying.

Manufacturing With Quality Control Built In

Every batch that leaves our plant is checked before dispatch โ€” density, viscosity, compressibility and moisture content are logged against spec, and application method (dip, brush or spray) and carrier type (water or alcohol) are confirmed before the drum is labelled. This isn't an add-on step; it's how we make sure the resin or coating a foundry receives performs the same way the last one did, and the one before that.

Serving Foundries Across India

From our base in Gujarat โ€” home to one of India's largest foundry and casting clusters โ€” we supply resins and coatings to jobbing foundries, captive casting units and large-scale metal casting operations across the country. Whatever the casting process, our team can help match a grade to your alloy, mould type and production volume, and stay available for technical support once the drum is on your floor.

Mission & Approach

What drives how we manufacture

M

Our Mission

To manufacture foundry resins and refractory coatings that Indian foundries can rely on batch after batch โ€” consistent chemistry, honest technical support, and no surprises on the shop floor.

V

Our Approach

We treat every drum as a data point, not just a delivery. In-house testing, traceable batches and direct technical support are built into how we work, not offered as an afterthought.

  • โœ“ In-house batch testing lab
  • โœ“ Application-ready formulations
  • โœ“ Dip, brush & spray grades
  • โœ“ Direct technical support for foundrymen
  • โœ“ Water & alcohol carrier options
  • โœ“ Pan-India dispatch
